We are happy to announce our VoIP phone system has been replaced with cellular. But we lost the 1-800-423-4974 we used for nearly 4 decades that forwards to our local number 1-816-313-0200. We’ve replaced that 1-800 number on all the websites where we had access. But not yet on our business cards…
The trade off is the ability to exchange short texts with links and images instead of using email and best of all, mobility. We can answer the phone anywhere. Sometimes phone calls without caller id were not answered because they were usually telemarketers. Now we have the same spam protections as our personal cell phones. And we have visual voice mail but our cell phones can never replace email for complex communications.
